Under Biden, Budzinski played pivotal role in killing energy sector jobs
Decatur, IL. – Today, Jesse Reising is up with new billboards throughout Decatur and Springfield reminding voters of Joe Biden and Nikki Budzinski’s role in the record high gas prices across the country. Biden makes the trip to Illinois on the same day inflation reaches a historic record of 8.3 percent and the average price per gallon of gas soars to $4.37.
As a Biden-Bureaucrat working in the President’s Office of Management and Budget, Nikki Budzinski oversaw the implementation of Biden’s executive order stopping the Keystone Pipeline that killed thousands of jobs and increased the United States’ dependence on foreign fuel.
Budzinski campaigns on reducing America’s dependence on foreign energy. Her platform cites the need for “creating jobs and reducing our dependence on foreign energy from unstable regimes around the world,” but her track record shows the opposite.
“Voters in our district deserve to know Budzinski’s track record versus what she’s saying on the campaign trail,” said Jesse Reising, candidate for Illinois thirteenth congressional district. “If she was serious about creating new jobs in our district, then she would support efforts to unleash our energy capabilities. I will fight to open up the American energy market in a safe and reliable way that delivers jobs and lowers the cost of fuel.”
