Decatur, IL. – Today, Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas endorsed Jesse Reising’s candidacy in his bid for Illinois’ competitive thirteenth congressional district. This support is a strong testament to Reising’s experience and vision for representing the people of Central and Southern Illinois.
“I’m proud to endorse Jesse Reising for Congress in Illinois’ 13th District. He’s a dedicated public servant and federal criminal prosecutor who has fought to lock up criminals and protect our communities,” said Senator Cotton. “If we are going to stop Biden’s reckless agenda, we need strong conservatives like Jesse in Congress. I look forward to working with Jesse to back our law enforcement, rebuild our military, and get our economy back on track.”
Before serving in the House and Senate, Cotton served as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army and completed two combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He earned the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, and Ranger Tab.
